Unit contains one or two automatic flush bolts for use on a metal door up to 4'0" x 8'0" fire rated for up to 3 hours. Bolt has a 3/4" throw with 2" vertical adjustment; adjustment can be made without removing door from frame. Standard rod is 12". The bolt is projected automatically when the active (lead) door closes and depresses the trigger on the edge of the door to lock the inactive door. When the active door is opened, the bolt automatically retracts to unlock the inactive door. Low closing force. Override feature prevents damage to doors or bolts if bolt heads are blocked from entering strikes. Bolt head rods are adjustable up to 1-1/2". Thermal lock automatically locks the inactive door under high heat conditions due to fire. UL listed.
