The Tennessean Names Cook & Boardman as a Top Employer for Middle Tennessee in 2021
Jun 18th 2021
Cook & Boardman’s Nashville-based branch, a leading distributor of commercial door entry solutions, announced today that the company has been recognized as a 2021 Top Workplace in Middle Tennessee by The Tennessean.
The award is solely based on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey. The anonymous assessment uniquely measured 15 drivers of engaged cultures that are critical to the success of any organization, including alignment, execution and connection.
The company is a divisional branch of The Cook & Boardman Group, LLC, and is overseen by Branch Manager Tim Elam. Located at 345 Mason Road in La Vergne, the office employs 66 associates and specializes in providing the Volunteer State and beyond (including national accounts) with commercial doors, frames and hardware.
“I’m incredibly honored to accept this award on behalf of Cook & Boardman,” said Elam. “Since the beginning, we’ve determined our success on the satisfaction and loyalty of our employees, so this recognition is quite humbling.”
When the notice was received by parent company The Cook & Boardman Group, Chief Executive Officer Darrin Anderson added “We’re thrilled to hear that our La Vergne branch has been recognized as one of Middle Tennessee’s Top Workplaces. These associates have built a stellar reputation for not only providing quality products and services, but for also building a true team environment. I commend Tim and his staff for exemplifying our employee-centric and team-oriented culture.”
