Surface mounted 1000 Series LCN closers feature a modern slim line design for easy installation on narrow head frames and top rails. The drop plate 1260-18 is for use with the 1260 series LCN closer. It is required for hinge side mounting where the top rail is less than 2-1/2" (64mm) or for top jamb mounting where the head frame is less than 1-3/4" (44mm) or flush ceiling conditions exist. The plate requires a minimum 1-1/2" (38mm) top rail or 1-1/4" (32mm) head frame to install.
