Magnetic Gasketing

Magnetic gasketing is utilized to seal and close door opening gaps.  Common applications are "Magnetic Seals" which can be mounted to the Door or the frame stop and "Magnetic Astragal Sets", used on a pair of doors where they meet in the center when closed.   The overall goal depending on gasketing certification is to help control and/or reduce air infiltration, sound, insects and pests, smoke, and water. Gasketing is most commonly mounted with fasteners, however, various designs may exist.
