Perimeter Gasketing
Perimeter gasketing is designed to seal gaps based on various depths around the edges of a door assembly. The overall goal depending on gasketing certification is to help control and/or reduce air infiltration, sound, insects and pests, smoke, and water. Gasketing can be mounted with fasteners, adhesive, or friction depending on the application. Products can also be commonly referred to as weatherstrip.
