Adams Rite 4600 Heavy Duty Deadlatch Handle for 4300, 4500 or 4900 Series Deadlatch

The 4600 heavy-duty designer series deadlatch handles combine aesthetics, functionality and strength in a sturdy compact package crafted to match the clean lines of a narrow stile door. The 4600 series is designed to operate with 4300, 4500 and 4900 series deadlatches with either an upward or downward motion. The 4600 is shipped handed but can easily be reconfigured to accommodate either door swing. The patented adjustable drive mechanism allows the escutcheon to be set back from the door edge at installation, to provide additional clearance. Escutcheon mounted base is secured by hidden screws and has two large helical compression springs. A 1/4" square heat-treated spindle is part of the escutcheon assembly which interlocks with the cam plug. Cam plug is required (included), it is secured to the latch body by cylinder setscrew, the cam plug is tied to the handle escutcheon by integral anti-rotation pins.
